Medal of Honour Getting Modern Reboot?

Producer's CV suggests contemporary spin for first person franchise.

Medal of Honour may be in line for a Modern Warfare inspired reboot, according to the CV of a production intern at Electronic Art's Los Angeles studio.

Micah Lapping-Carr's CV (spotted by videogaming24/7) boasts three months working on 'a Medal of Honour modern combat title', with the posting taking place in summer of last year.

A contemporary reboot helped turn Activision's Call of Duty into one of this generation's biggest gaming phenomenon, and a similar move would no doubt boost the profile of the ailing Medal of Honour franchise.

The last instalment, Medal of Honour: Airborne, was a solid if uninspiring entry, and since then we've heard nothing of a further instalment for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or PC.

Rumours of a modern-day Medal of Honour first surfaced this August, with French site jeuxvideo stating that the game would be based on Operation Anaconda, a real-life mission that took place in Afghanistan in 2002.

Official WRC Game Announced

Black Bean and Milestone getting behind the wheel.

The World Rally Championship is getting an all-new official game, courtesy of automotive specialists Black Bean and developer Milestone.

Milestone has most recently been responsible for the solid if unremarkable pair of SBK-08 and Superstars V8 Racing. "We are particularly proud to bring the WRC franchise back into the videogames arena after so many years of absence," said Black Bean's Virgilio Bixio

"Milestone has been working hard on this title and our expectations are really high. We will be able to provide the utmost competitive title that will provide extremely positive results. Furthermore, Milestone's work is enriched by the overwhelming support we have received from the WRC community."

However, there could be a couple of flies in the ointment for the team; Sony's behemoth Gran Turismo 5, due next Spring, will also be bearing the official licence, which itself has diminished somewhat of late with the World Rally Championship bearing the brunt of the car industry's recent struggles and losing several big manufacturers.

The game is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and is scheduled for release next year.

PES2010 : Demo - How to take a penalty kick that is on target !

I found this is work for me. I wish this work for you, too.

I will post a crude diagram of what to do, that should go along with his posting.
I just had a penalty shoot out on the demo and kept within the goal every single time, one went in off the post, and the keeper saved 2 but they weren't at him, he had to dive to reach them.
NOW i ENJOY taking penalties. This works for BOTH shoot - outs AND in game penalties, except the controls are, of course, changed around to suit the camera angle, in-game...

Sorry 'bout the bad drawing, but this way of taking them works. It's all in the timing...just like a Pro Evo game SHOULD be :)
