Tecmo announced today that NBA Unrivaled will launch on Xbox Live Arcade on November 11 and PlayStation Network at a later date. Developed through a partnership with ACRONYM Games, NBA Unrivaled brings arcade-style basketball and support for 1080p visuals to both systems.
Basketball fans can expect to see exaggerated action featuring all 30 NBA teams and the latest 2009-2010 rosters. Unlike NBA Jam and other arcade basketball releases, NBA Unrivaled still uses traditional 5-on-5 gameplay in both online and offline mode where you'll be able to play player vs. CPU, player vs. player or two players vs. a CPU opponent.
Throughout gameplay you'll be working to build up your Momentum Gauge in an effort to unleash Momentum Mania which will increase your offensive and defensive abilities and will also unlock "flashier, bigger plays." Players will also have the chance to unlock new jerseys from today's game as well as throwback uniforms.
