Medal of Honour Getting Modern Reboot?

Producer's CV suggests contemporary spin for first person franchise.

Medal of Honour may be in line for a Modern Warfare inspired reboot, according to the CV of a production intern at Electronic Art's Los Angeles studio.

Micah Lapping-Carr's CV (spotted by videogaming24/7) boasts three months working on 'a Medal of Honour modern combat title', with the posting taking place in summer of last year.

A contemporary reboot helped turn Activision's Call of Duty into one of this generation's biggest gaming phenomenon, and a similar move would no doubt boost the profile of the ailing Medal of Honour franchise.

The last instalment, Medal of Honour: Airborne, was a solid if uninspiring entry, and since then we've heard nothing of a further instalment for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or PC.

Rumours of a modern-day Medal of Honour first surfaced this August, with French site jeuxvideo stating that the game would be based on Operation Anaconda, a real-life mission that took place in Afghanistan in 2002.
